Overview of the webinar
The Excel Data Analysis Tool Pak Add-in allows Excel users to solve statistical analysis problems WITHOUT the need for the statistical background or being familiar with conventional Excel statistical functions. This tool can solve your problems applicable to finance, statistics, engineering and more.
The “Descriptive Statistics” feature of the Data Analysis Tool Pak, allows you to analyze data and get all the statistical summaries of that data (Sum, Average, High, Low, Median, Standard Deviations and a few more) with just a few clicks.
The “Histogram” part of this tool, creates a frequency-distribution of occurrences - and a frequency-distribution-chart without the effort and know-how that other statistical functions require.
The “Correlation” feature the Tool Pak is a tool that will, almost instantly, generates all the multiple correlation coefficients between a number of variables simultaneously.
You will receive all the Excel files before the workshop – so that you can practice all these techniques during the workshop and on you own.
Who should attend?
Excel users that would like to acquire statistical tools for daily use and decision making. This workshop was taught by the presenter in the executive MBA programs, where the attendees did not have a statistical background.
Why should you attend?
If you want to be able to use statistics without being a statistician. The objective of this workshop is to give you the tools to solve the day-to-day statistical problems you may have, without using the conventional Excel statistical functions. You will be able to use the Excel Add-in tool to solve all the statistical calculation with a couple of clicks. You will be creating a frequency distribution and chart - to understand the characteristics and trends of the data, without the effort required to do it with conventional Excel functions.
Faculty - Dr.Isaac Gottlieb
For more than 25 years Dr. Isaac Gottlieb has been teaching Excel workshops for MBA students in a number of universities, including, Columbia, NYU, Rutgers and others in the US and other countries. In addition, he taught courses of Management Science and Statistics for Managers (always) using Excel. Over 100,000 students have attended his workshops and courses over the past 25 years.
